PREPARING FOR YOUR ROOFING INSTALLATION
To prepare for your install, there are a few things we need from you:
- When we remove your existing roof, debris will fall on the ground. We will cover the ground, however, some debris will miss our tarps, and due to the sheer volume and weight of material, some plants and shrubs could be damaged in the process. For that reason, we recommend that valuable plants or other items be moved or protected prior to start.
- During roof removal on your house and/or garage, debris and dust will fall through the roof boards into the space below. To prevent any damage please remove all valuables and cover any remaining items.
- Our crew will need a minimum of 10ft of working space on the exterior perimeter of your home. Please clear any lawn ornaments or furniture at least 10ft away from your home.
- The process of roofing will vibrate your home and may cause items to fall. To prevent this from happening we recommend that you remove hanging items, such as, mirrors, plates, clocks, and shelves with knick-knacks.
- If your home is equipped with a satellite dish you will need to have your installation company realign the dish after the roof is completed.
- At the end of the job, our crews use a “Magnetic nail rake” to remove loose nails on the ground. Until then, there may be nails scattered in the lawn. Children should not play in the work area or where debris has fallen until the crew chief gives you an all clear. After that, since it is impossible to be certain that we have removed every nail or piece of debris, we recommend that you require shoes be worn in this area.
PREPARING FOR YOUR WINDOW/DOOR INSTALLATION

- Please also remove anything on the walls near the windows and doors to prevent any damage due to the vibrations of construction.
