During roofing, some debris may fall around your home. We cover areas with tarps, but some might miss. We recommend moving valuable plants or items for protection. We always strive to clean up thoroughly after the job is complete.
How do I prepare for a roofing installation?
Ensure a minimum of 10ft of working space around your home’s exterior, removing ornaments or furniture. Valuable plants should be moved. Remove or protect items inside the house that might be affected by vibrations, and consider removing hanging items like mirrors or plates. If you have a satellite dish, it’ll need realignment post roofing.
What should I do to prepare for window/door installations?
Remove blinds or window treatments, and ensure a 3-5ft working space both inside and outside each window or door. Items on walls near these areas should also be removed due to construction vibrations.
If I sell my house, does the warranty transfer to the new owner?
Yes, our window warranty is transferable one time. Please reach out to us directly for warranty details on other products.
I’ve heard about debris and nails during installations. How is this managed?
Post-installation, our crew uses a magnetic nail rake to remove nails on the ground. However, we recommend caution and wearing shoes in the area until we’ve completed our thorough cleanup.
I have valuables inside and outside my home. How do I protect them?
For roofing, move or protect valuable plants and items outside. Inside, cover items below the roofing area and remove wall hangings. For windows/doors, create space around the installation areas and remove window treatments.
